Most frequent questions and answers
If all you do is source hotels, then working with us could put your job in jeopardy. We probably wouldn’t be a good fit in that situation. However, if you could use more time to pursue other projects at work, we could be a good fit.
Currently, there is no cost for our sourcing services. We are able to do that because we are paid a commission through hotels based on total room revenue. That commission is usually between 7-10%. We do offer registration and planning services that do have fees.
Never say never, but it’s not good business for hotels to charge more to offset the cost of commission. To make this even less likely, we always try to include a lowest rate clause in our contracts.
Definitely not. Sometimes the most expensive hotel is the best fit for your needs, and if that’s the case we’ll recommend it. But making recommendations based only on rate wouldn’t allow us to retain clients for as long as we have.
If the sleeping room count on your peak night is less than 10 rooms, it’s usually more efficient for you to work directly with the hotel.
